uninstall

Hi everyone

Could any of you pleae tell me how to uninstall fix-it utilities professional 6 when there is no uninstall utility for it and it is not included in the add/remove programs list? The manufacturer website doesn't seem to be much help either. Thank you

I'd be tempted to just delete the folder.....
I know ... I know but fix it is a collection of utilities ... and if I remember correctly the "install" is just a create folder and copy files afair.

give it a go ... if I'm wrong ... just re-install ... and pretend I never said anything

Thanks for that AC, I will try that. This is for a neighbor and its no longer working anyway. As far as the reinstall goes, its not likely to happen as I dont think they have the disk and there is a popup when starting the application that says that the license key is already in use on another computer. I put Avast in for them and don't want the 2 programs conflicting. I've tried everything I can think of to get this computer to speed up. Its acting like it has a virus but as far as I can tell Ive cleaned everything up the best I could and its still sloooow.

assume you've defragged, chkdsk, cleaned all the temp folders and have about 20% (min) free space?

.... root directory less than 128 files - no more than 256 entries in total, no folder with more than 10,000 files .... and have turned indexing off?
.... also a permanent swap file
;-)

what's it like with no virus, firewall and LAN connected (ethernet disabled)

...... crash and burn?
