when i log on in the morning my mail tells me i have 5 emails i look at them then log on at night it then tells me i have 10 but it as the first 5 i looked at so how do i fix it so that the emails i look at are new ones all the time.help please

I don't know what email program you are using but most of them allow you to click on the "received date" and sort them that way.

Try "View". Click on "Show unopened mail only", or words to that effect. Keeps the screen clean.

Postscript to last message. Have checked Outlook Express The set up is "View" - "Current View" - "Hide read messages" or "Hide read or ignored messages".
