MAC OS on PC's

This may be a silly question, but can you run Mac OS on a normal PC. If not what other alternatives are there to Windows and Linux ?

Not directly, I think there may be a OSX emulator for the PC. Unix, Novell, BeOS, DOS are all alternative OSes.

There are a few others - use a search engine - including a great many written and freely available, by grad. students (but you'd have to be desparate to let one of those handle your system!)
