Hi Neenee,

The site has changed a lot, some people now come on here just to try and cause problems, they never actually answer a question, they just post some inane comment,or tell someone to get stuffed or what a d!ckhead they are, lets hope they get bored or go back to school eh!!!!
Whats it got to do with you lol

In answer to your post, it does seem that what started as banter, gets misread by some and it spirals out of control, i,ve had my fair share of arguments on here some right some wrong, a big problem is when your expressing yourself on here its only with words ie seeing someone in person and having a conversation is much better than typing words out and trying to think what reaction you are getting form the other end

hello ray....

yeah couldnt agree more.... i admit some of the banter is funny, and thats acceptable to a certain degree... but i noticed one thread from last night that i caught up on this morning... got really nasty!!

glad i got an early night and wasnt involved in that one
Question Author
lol @ laurence... awww and i thought you were so nice too!!!
hello neenee, just looked through that thread, are they both lovers {WM & Naz}
Look Neenee, if you don't like it then find another site! :oP

seriously tho, I find it easier to overlook the garbage and answer the question and/or join in with the banter. once the trouble starts just look past it, If you answer them, you're feeding them.
Question Author
laurence, well they surely argue like some lovers... so who knows eh.

thanks for that lore ;-)

Hi Neenee & laurence,

I love the banter, but some of the insults are sick,as laurence says, they would not say it to your face,

laurence tell me when you were boxing did you ever train at the Thomas a Beckett in the Old Kent Road ?

I used to drink there years ago, Ray
i never argue on here it upsets me
Hi bob,
great to see your name back on here, you ok ?

I have never seen you get angry bob !!!!
hello raymondo did you miss me?
morning folks. i enjoy the Q&A and the banter chatty threads, but when it seems to be degenerating into a row, i'll just ignore it.
Missed you loads bob, glad your back for the footie season, have a few questions to give our wisdom to on there,eh !!!
Ray, i,ve been their a number of times to train, but being from south of the river i trained locally?
Neenee

Its true that what starts out as banter, can suddenly spiral.
I blame it on the lack of commas, seriously. Read some posts of long sentances and you can easily misconstrue what the aber is saying, especially when the subject involves speaking about 2 different people. Someone reads it (one of the 2 people), and immediately ask if it they are who the poster is referring, because they cannot distinction between one reference and another. Truly, it is the lack of punctuation most of the time, that confuses, as to exactly what the poster is stating.
Hi laurence,

probably seen you there,Iwas there 70s into 80s, some characters there then, I just can't guess who you are though, one day maybe, take care all Ray

I lived in Surrey docks, oh sorry gone upmarket now

"surrey Quays" now !!
Last nites case in hand. Someone(B) remarked on another abers(A) post. (B) said that she thought (A) was insensitive. (A) said she speaks her mind. Another aber(C) defended (A) and said she had a right to say what she thought, and told (B) that (A) was allowed to voice her opinion. (B) tried to explain that she agreed that this is true, but that she(B) also had that same right. But, no (C) still insisted that (A) could say as she wanted, but that (B) did not have that right. That is when I joined in and used the "gang" warfare pointer.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander
Ray, you won't guess who i am because i WON'T drop my guard.

Ps, i,ve fought at york hall on a few occasions tho
so you know your ABC then pie+mash?
