computer speed

The music on my computer is far too fast. Sounds like the chipmunks. Can anyone help please?

Computer don't play music. Software on computers play music. Since you've not told us which program you're using, it's hard to answer your question!

Music sounds like helium on Spotify what to do please.
Try going into Spotify's 'Preferences' and removing the tick which enables hardware acceleration. (Then click 'Apply').

I have windows XP lap top. Music sounds as thought the singer is on helium. I have altered the preferences on Spotify, but makes no difference. Can anyone help please? thanks.
