Hi Al.....I fully appreciated all of your efforts to help solve my problem and wish to apologise for what may have seemed a somewhat hasty decision, on my part, to draw matters to a close; before you offered further suggestions. I had reached a stage of frustration whereby I was fed-up with trying to resolve the matter and decided to live with it. However, I would ask you to smile after you have read the following.
It is the case that, for no reason whatsoever, I have been keeping my hand on the mouse after I have clicked ok. for 'sleep mode' and then waited for the comp. to go into an unconscious state before removing my mit from the rodent. Consequently, when I finally released the mouse from my trap there was, what could have been, only a slight shake, but enough to send a message to 'switch back on'. Need I say anymore.?
