Women with a deep voices?

When i hear them i listen again,do some women have such a deep voices that it makes you think are they men?

yes poodicat, my neighbours, daughter has a deep voice and when i hear them talking i often think its a man shes taliking to. dont know about you but I think Gillian Taylforth has a deep voice that sounds similar to a mans.

Her on the BBC news that does the war correspondent stuff - Caroline something. I always do a double take when I see her. Oh and there was a woman on Uni Challenge this series.

Me...I have a deep croaky voice and I'm often mistaken for a man. My son's voice is much worse.....to the point that he's hard to understand...he's 11.
