Monday. Lots of rain through the night. The car looks clean! :o}

Most of the housework post snowflake is done. It's hopeless getting the vacuum cleaner out while she's here, she fights with it and there is no chance of getting it done properly. Dusting is just as bad, she tries to get hold of the duster. She thinks it's great fun!

Off to see my friends in Yate today. Always a pleasure. So will be off at eight.

Have a good day, WBM. I look after a little dog sometimes, who also likes to fight the vacuum cleaner. It's impossible to get it done while she's here, but she's so much fun.

Afternoon seekz xxx For a wee while. At long last the habit of waking every 20 minutes to check on Vera seems to be going. I sometimes get a whole hour in one go. :o}

They're so lovely, aren't they? I've never owned a dog and don't think I could cope with the demands of them full time, but I love the time I do have with her.

I've had cats and would like to have one again but OH hates them, so that's not going to happen.

They are indeed jo. We always had dogs until 1995. every one of them was delightful in their own way. I couldn't have one now as I spend a lot of time out, at places I couldn't take it, so it wouldn't be fair to the dog or me. I love looking after her though. We have a lot of fun, but I have to do some re-arranging in order to not have to leave her on her own.

Nearly beer o'clock for me.
Another day of table making over. One more day and all the timber work should be done. Just have to wait until I can get my glass to the big smoke for cutting and dressing.

Not into glass cutting then? ;o} I think I'd get it done professionally too, to be honest.

I'm quite happy cutting glass for windows etc. but the sheets I have are 10mm thick laminated and I want it cut octagonal with beveled edges.
A job for the experts.
All the timber used is recycled, old floor joists, staircases, roofing timbers, 4 different breeds.

I'll send photos when finished.

Just watching Trump and Clinton on the news.

Like a couple of six year-olds in the school playground. I wouldn't put either of them in charge of a well trained dog, never mind one the most powerful countries in the world!

That's what politics seems to be these days, bullying and slandering.
No need for policies, plans and controlling finances etc. just dump on the opposition.
