It sounds weird but i've always had this thing about them. The kids at nursery have them all the time so I decided I would try one. I could not physically put it in my mouth!!

Erin - I thought it was just me. Have not eaten an orange for nearly 45 years. Went off them when I was pregnant with first child and never had one since.

Calamari - just seen it in the fridge section of M&S when I went to pick up a salad for lunch. Couldn't even look at it ! Might as well been alive it was so disgusting.

But I did have a tub of olives as a special treat and enjoyed them immensely.

Ummmm, (certain irony with my comment) Not knowing what Balut is I googled as suggested... I think I'll pass on that one. Awful and revolting :-/
