I wonder whether this talented man will ever win a Grand Slam, perhaps wimbledon, i would like to think so, but time marches on in this game so quickly.

I hope he does but I don't think he quite has the talent of the top 3.

It seems he's had enough chances but unfortunately comes up a bit short.I'm afraid he's just a shade below consistent top class tennis,so I don't think he'll ever win one

He might.....if Federer, Nadal or Jokavic are absent for some reason....otherwise....extremely unlikely.
with Sqad..unless they all travel together to Wimbledon and there is an awful accident....
NO

He has come close on a lot of occasions and shown that he hasn't got the mental ability to cope with the pressure, so he will always come up short.

He is also starting to suffer more and more with injuries, suggesting his body is starting to fail him as well.
He`s like a Pritt Stick...good on paper but crap on any other surface
Another Tim Henman
About as much chance as a snowball in hell
He's tennis's equivalent of Colin Montgomerie, looks like going all the way only to blow it when the going gets tough
No. He does not believe he is capable.

Just look at his body language. You can see it on his face.
"Come on Andy" could replace "Come on Tim" as the call of hope over realistic expectation.
Yet again I found him embarrassing aainst Nadal.............it comes to something when the commentator has to apologise for Murrays language.
At least Tim had some likeability. I'd be happy to see anyone of any nation beat Andy Murray. Nadal rocks.

if he would give in and employ a sports Physcologist - then he will have a chance - he has the game - but not the mind.

i hope he does, it would be good to see a Brit do well, but tend to agree that his mind is what keeps the grand slam so elusive
yes i think he just might
Question Author
Dotty, well i must say i am glad someone thinks he will. I don't dislike him, but we haven't seen a mens wimbledon champion since Fred Perry, is that correct? so i wish him well, and hope he does.
I tend to think the the Brit players aren't really hungry enough for a Wimbledon win -lack that killer instinct - they don't seem to have battled like a lot of other players - maybe I'm wrong - just think they're a bit mollycoddled.
Hope not. Went right off him when he was ranting about hating the English.
