Tuesday. The work is going well and will be finished today. Two polite, helpful and tidy young lads. Well; young to me anyway! I'm keeping them well supplied with builder's tea and bikkies. I'll be glad when I've got the place back to normal...when I can find out what normal is!

Thick mist this morning, cant see across the green, about 50 yards. No wind, so it's likely to lurk. So away to get the paper early this morning, before the lunatics get behind the wheel and see how fast they can go with no lights on.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning WBM. If you're up, then it means it's time I went to bed, lol!
Glad to read the workmen will be finishing today, and you can try to get back to normal.
Wishing you + those who may follow a happy Tuesday :)

G'day Boaty + Bathsheba.
Hope your "old mates" send off went well last Friday.
Good to read your renovations are going to plan.
Getting back to normal, is there any such thing? :-)
All the best.

Morning baths xxx A reverse alarm clock I am then! :o}Yes, they are doing a good job and not making too much mess considering they've had to drill through two walls!

What have you been up to? :o}
Question Author
Afternoon oz. It went very well. 68 boats in convoy up the canal to Gloucester docks.

All the rest have seen these, but just for you,

I'm glad you enjoyed them. Sleep well baths xxxxx :o}
All's good here mate. Although I'm still feeling a bit seedy. Our local league club won the grand final on Saturday arvo. First time since 1967. They were the minor premiers for the first time in the history of the club, 105 years (won the competition games) , went through the finals and hosted the grand final, once again first time ever.
About 3000 turned up to watch the match, not a bad turnout for a town of 700, didn't we celebrate.
I have to mention my 19 year old son played his first year in "seniors" with them, (excuse the proud daddy bit)
Which sport is it?
Question Author
You have every right to be the proud dad bit mate. I've been there, done that too! :o}

That's the kind of celebration I like! :o} Well done to all concerned. That's impressive!

Morning obit. All well? :o}
Morning Skipper.... back to night shifts, leave goes all to fats!!
It was a big effort, thanks heaps.
Rugby League, Obiter, probably not the favourite form of footy where you are.
But a great game.
fast!!

Morning slappy. As long as you enjoyed it mate. Welcome back. ;o}
1000 times better than the round ball game Ozzy tried it when we lived in Yorkshire much harder than union
We had a great time mate, good weekend for the silver wedding then a few nice days in London to ourselves
Rugby in whatever form is a closed book to me. My understanding of quantum physics far exceeds that of rugby, and I came bottom of the class at school in physics.

Well done slappy. I'm sure Mrs. Slappy enjoyed it. :o}

I always found that get back from a good leave and next day you wonder if you only dreamt you were on leave. I remember it well.
