Keyplus, //I will not talk about few small religions of the world where a wife has to die (burnt alive) when husband dies,//
I meant to add something about that last night because you are way behind the times. As this link confirms the custom was outlawed by India's British rulers in 1829 following demands by Indian reformers. What a pity Islam doesn’t follow suit and modernise.

With regard to your claim to have answered all the questions put to you, Birdie is quite right. You rarely do anything other than respond to questions with yet more questions. This thread demonstrates that, because still you haven’t answered the original question – and neither has Sith.
Sith, You, who claim to have studied all religions before opting for Islam really should have known that Hindu women are not expected to throw themselves onto their husband’s funeral pyre - and you’re not seriously telling us you believe the stuff in Keyplus’ link, are you? Within the last few posts here there have been two verifiable rebuttals of the lies that website promotes – and they resulted from just a quick look. If you want more, I can guarantee that finding them will be a very simple task.

all the infos here, as it says it has been banned numerous times and originates from a belief in one of their goddeses, so it is religious to them.

Sith - My advice to you is that just wait for someone who really is interested in knowing or talking about something or. You would never be able to convince few. Remember I said this twice now. I usually let these people win. Because I know that is not going to change the ground realities so why not make someone happy by giving up. After all I do not have time to waste. The only way you may teach Naomi about whether or not “Sati” still is going on in India or not is that you should take here to Rural India, convince her to marry a Hidu and then kill her husband. And when someone will drag her and hit her in the head before leaving here there to burn then she would now what women rights really mean.
Naomi [22:59 Tue 20th Mar 2012] - “.... And you [Keyplus] still haven’t answered the question.”
As I've said on numerous occasions, Keyplus loves to claim that he gives detailed and comprehensive answers but this claim is simply just another one of his many lies. The sad fact is, going on past evidence, he wouldn't know a honest answer if he fell over it.

* Just because you are ignoring me doesn't mean that I am ignoring you. My posts, even when they are directed at you specifically, are meant to be viewed by all. So please continue your childish game if it pleases you – I won't be reciprocating *
The video you posted is shocking. The title of it is misleading though – it's titled “Woman beaten to death (India)”. We actually don't know from this video what became of the woman after her hands were bound with string - there was no indication that she was beaten to death. That being said, the violence perpetrated against the woman was utterly despicable and if the video was indeed portraying what it was purporting to portray than clearly it's a gross violation and I thoroughly disapprove and deplore this action.
However, as I have stated many times before, you do not and cannot defend your own religious beliefs and practices by attacking other people's – no matter how warped and evil those other religions are.
Let's assume for a minute that I'm a Hindu and I wanted to defend my faith from your accusations of religiously prescribed female abuse. I could perhaps post a video of a Muslim woman being buried up to her neck in the ground and then being stoned to death for the crime of 'adultery' by a crowd of self-righteous onlookers. Would that be a defence for the Hindu practice of beating women for the 'crime' of refusing to burnt alive with their recently dead husbands?
Of course it wouldn't. It's absurd to think that it would. But that's precisely what you are doing – attempting to justify Islamic violence and misogyny against women by pointing the finger at an equally unpleasant practice perpetrated by the adherents of another religion and saying - “Ooh. Aren't they horrible?”.

Keyplus said this earlier;

I think it says more about what is inside his head than he realises.

Keyplus, going on the title of that video, the content falls significantly short of expectation. It’s a deliberate fabrication. Exactly what are you trying to prove? That the barbaric illegal practices of the backward people of another religion justify the barbaric practices – both legal and illegal - of the backward people of yours? For someone who has claimed many times to be highly educated, your attitude is truly perturbing.
Sith, I don’t doubt Jom has watched it – but from what you’ve said to him, the question is, have you?
