Near where we live,on a narrow country lane,is a sign at the entrance to a house drive~

"You are welcome to turn here"

You don't see that often(sadly).more usually it's "NO TURNING HERE!"
On sleeping tablets, may make you drowsy.
Luna, Now I'm wondering if they did mean the metal kind?
Sign in a laundry

Automatic washing machines: please remove all your clothes when the light goes out.

In an office

After tea break staff should empty the teapot and stand upside down on the draining board

Outside an optometrist's office a sign saying "Eye exams: 2 for the price of one".
I always like "This door is alarmed"
NO TRESSPASSING
Violators will be shot, survivors will be shot again
'Ear piercing while you wait'!

Prize for non-sensical information...It must go to Walkers for their Sensations range, which now bear the message 'Made with real ingredients'. Anyone heard of anything made with imaginary ingredients?
Please do not climb on zoo fence, animals may eat you and that might make them sick, Thank you.

Local shop :- Don't steal, the government doesn't like competition.
Notice in a field, "It is an offence to throw stones at this notice" True, that one.
Luna-sea I used to have the name lunar-c on here for about a year till it got banned.

Just thought I would tell you that lol
the sign I like is,
"if this sign is under water ,the road is flooded"
Out nearest Asda caf advertises the sale of bacon rolls. This is illustrated by a massive poster depicting a bacon roll on a side plate (with nothing else on the plate or alongside it). The words 'Serving suggestion' appear prominently on the poster. (Gosh, I'd never of thought of that. Putting it on a plate! What a fantastic suggestion!).

A swimming pool in Ipswich displayed this sign by the showers: "Swimming costumes must always be worn". It's about 10 years since I last went swimming there, and continuing to comply with that sign is getting increasingly uncomfortable and unhygienic ;-)

I've seen several places advertising 'aluminium windows'. I'd have thought that glass ones would be easier to see out of ;-)

When I was teaching, a filing cabinet was labelled 'P.E. stationary'. Perhaps that's why there are so many unfit kids around these days?

Further to your reference to 'free cash withdrawals', Sheffield has loads of shops with the sign 'Free Off Licence'

Chris
ASDA have a policy of offering serving suggestions on all their food, great idea, I was particularly amused by the serving suggestion on a bottle of vineger: Sprinkle on Chips! Never thought of that!
This used to amuse me:

I think they've stopped selling them now.
