I am fed up of hearing of sexual harassment from female pop and film stars, transgender issues,
political correctness and call centre persons who still have to master the english language ...... and more lately .... golliwogs !

I agree with the last part of your OP - I wish the Newspapers etc wouldn't pounce on every Golly story they hear about.

I remember as a child, with my Nan saving the stamps for golliwogs badges from jam jars. As I take people as they are, i;d never really thought about it... but never use that terminology toward anyone.
