Did you have houses at your school? Mine were Ragdale, Phillips, Clive and I think it was Sinclair. I was in Ragdale. What about you?

Tudor, Windsor, Stuart and Hanover......I was In Hanover, green stripes in the school tie......Tudor was red stripes, Stuart yellow and I think Windsor was purple.
Quite a few of my current friends and business contacts are from my old school house. The house you get put in is a huge thing.
Our school had houses called: Tryfan, Powys, Glyndwr, Dewi and Llewelyn. I was in Tryfan; it was a purple T in a purple shield.
Mine were Peary Rhodes Scott and Stanley, I was in Peary.
Were they all species of sheep horseshoes? :-)
Anson,Rodney,Howe and one I can't remember.
Ashdown, Delamere, Radnor, Sherwood, Dean and Arden. I was in Ashdown.
At primary school I was in Clive (we had Clive, Livingstone, Scott and someone else!)
I went to a catholic school. The houses were Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and I can't remember the other one. It was a long time ago.
Canary42 - What Wharton was it named after?
Ours were all Welsh (can't remember them for the life of me). Each had a colour assigned and we had little badges but you could peel the colour off, most were plain metal but some were psychedelic. My children have the names of hawks. The school I last worked at had the names of the four streets around it that were some of the Cumbrian lakes.
Trojans, corinthians, spartans, athenians if i remember athenians always used to win everything due to a very competitive house master who also just happend to be the games teacher, big brute of a guy who used to like to "join in" when we played rugby and do crushing tackles on us young boys! (wouldnt happen in this day and age)
senior school, Arden Ashdown, Hainault and Sherwood, the school was called Timberlog.
Delamere, Sherwood, Charnwood and Darwin
Goulborne (mine), loakes, Clark and Anderson were the day houses. Boarding houses were walker, highlands, dove and Turner.
All named after previous teachers.
