Depends what you mean by "famous"... Are the Eggheads / Chasers famous? What about Al Murray? How about Rick Wakeman? Or Bill Gates?
you're related to all of them, MarkRae?

<swoons in envy>
i'm not related to anybody famous however, in the 80's i ws on the management team of the empire cinema leicester square. when we had royal an world premiers - i often met members of the royal family and also actors & directors
I`m not related to anyone famous but (due to work) I`ve met half the world. Singers, actors etc but I suppose the most impressive was Neil Armstrong because not many people do what he has done.

By famous I mean anyone that has ever done anything with publicity, doesnt have to be a hollywood actor ect. For example, I met: Michael Jackson when I was 11, Leeds United when they played a charity match at my local town when i was younger, Paul Nicholls did a guest apperance at the local nightclub when i was a teen, the list goes on. At present my brother plays keys/synth for Professor Green.
I've met Hugh Grant, Jane Goodall and Virginia McKenna. I'm supposed to be a relative of Captain Morgan but doubt that really.

Captain Morgan? As in the rum kind?
Mine are rubbish!
The band Gun are cousins of my Mum.
My mum dated Billy Connolly in the 60's.
I have met many "celeb" chefs due to my chef training and work.
I have met Sharleen Spiteri who was a moo, Usaine Bolt in Jamaica last year (gorgeously lovely man) and I met Dougray Scott when he came into my shop with his Mum before he got married.
I met Prince Phillip when I received my Duke of Edinburgh award
I met Tim Minchin after his Edinburgh show

That's it I think...not very exciting but good memories for me lol (apart from Sharleen Spieri!)
Yes ginger, he was really more of a Welsh pirate.
I once told John Thaw to f. off

I am the great grandchild of paddy the painter, an inebriate who died in Salford Workhouse. He was very famous to the contemporary forces of law and order round those parts.
A few years ago I had the honour of sharing a few pints with a guy called Brian Bevans, Who is he? I hear you ask. At the time he was the Cox of the Spurn Point Lifeboat and one of the most decorated men in the history of the RNLI a true unsung hero.
What had he doen to you Mrs O?
I was walking down a street and turned a corner slap bang into the middle of him being filmed. He gave me some verbal so he got more back.
I think my line was something like "Eff off you dwarf"
Lots of people from politicians through work to the Royal Family (Charles few times through his Trust/Di/Queen Mum 6 or 7 times, and some of the others). Met some sportsmen such as Gary Lineker, Tom Watson and Greg Norman all very nice and sane, some from the music world as I used to book bands at Uni - along with the likes of Eartha Kitt through family friends (she was dreadful and she had a stuck-up daughter slightly younger than me at the time.

One of the most fascinating was the lawyer who defended OJ Simpson, Johnny Cochrane, the man who came out with "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit" - he has been dead some seven years now.

Dated the daughter of someone famous too, one of Thatcher's ministers daughters and had the Secret Service checking me out.....my bank manager tipped me off.
I nearly forgot, as a teen, my late mum dated Jack Charlton
