do you know/have you met/are you related to....... Anyone famous?
I'm not celeb obsessed or anything but i do like to hear about peoples different stories about their claim to fame. So whats yours

I went to school with Dierdre's 1st husband, Ray Langton. Well, he was famous once.
Loads of musicians and a few tv and theatre stars. The memorable ones are the gorgeous ladies - Linda Lusardi, Denise Pearson, Kim Wilde ... hang on, I feel a little faint, I'm off for a lie-down .....
I`m related to a very famous Irish family of wrestlers and rowers. There is a book about the uncles called The Toughest Family on Earth. They were well known at home and in the US for their size and strength and then along came little Gness. When we went home someone would always say..."Jaysus Tom, where did you get that one? Someone give the child a Guinness!"
Grew up with Brendan Coyle`s cousin. He`s a dish too.
I met Jack Nicklaus two years ago. A fantastic day to remember. I received a letter from him three weeks ago. Woo hoo!
I met Hercules the Bear once - he was really nice.

I lead an exciting life.
1.I used to work in Haarlem in Holland and met Keith Stansfield, the father of Lisa.
I went to his daughter's concert in The Hague.
To her face she is just a nice young lady, girl next door type from Lancashire, but on the stage with the music, the band and the lighting, she was transformed into a goddess.She got a standing ovation from the audience with her son "All around the world"
2. I was once invited to a fancy dress party by Anton Vordeman, the
brother of Carol Vordeman,the erstwhile Countdown presenter. The booze and food flowed freely into the early hours of the morning. He is a very generous man. At that time he built computers and he held the party at his premises so the music could be played loudly as all the other offices were closed.
Through work I've met an astronaut and somebody else from NASA, met the Argentine Ambassador.

I know a former presenter of The Beechgrove Garden
Met lots of pop type people and comedians in the late sixties and early seventies as I worked in the holiday trade at a seaside resort .I've also measured Bernie Winters inside leg .
I've danced with Dick Cheney ex American VP .
