Asda or Tesco?

quite straightforward really,Asda or Tesco,my personal preference Asda. please note (spacechimps answer will be considered without any biast views)

Definately Tesco.Sainsbury's Wine Buyer needs sacking and Asda's bread (in store) is like cotton wool.

sainsbury's baked beans are cheaper than netto. the can just looks cheaper so some people are put off i guess. on the point of employees getting paid more. do any of the shelf stackers/tillers get paid more than minimum wage at any of these super markets. have only worked for morrisons where i was under 18 and got woefully underpaid as a result. worked at the factory end of marks and sparks and that was minimum wage too.
prefer tesco shops on the original point. ,my local asda (leeds owlcoates) is too big, freaks me out a bit.

I've just been to the biggest Asda in Europe (so they say!!) it's in Swindon it's said to be the size of 4 footie pitches. It's fantastic.

I shop weekly at Sainsburys but if I had to choose between Tesco and Asda it would definetly be Asda the bread is nicer, Tesco haven't got a fresh counter of cakes!! It's also cheaper and has more choice and the clothes are nicer.

Sainsbury's offer far better quality, choice and value for money than either Asda (Wal-mart) or Tesco.

I've noticed that you have to queue for a long time in Sainsbury's. One of Tesco's strong points has to be the efficiency of its staff.

I LOVE Asda, I went to Tescos with my partner a few weeks after my hysterectomy, my partner asked someone at the checkout area if I could sit while he bagged and paid etc, the lady (lady I say in very loose terms) pointed at a row of chairs near the entrance, a decent amount away from where we were and said, I quote "there are chairs over there arent there" ? cant she get to one of them ?

OOOOOOHHHHH how customer friendly that place is..... NOT.

Thank you Spacechimp but at that time I was really wanting to just go home and rest but I will never go into that Tesco store again not even if my life depended on it!

Tesco- has anyone tryed the tesco value range of food? i have and it's so cheep and yummy!

Well ASDA is owned by Walmart who have a track record of aggresive marketing and poor treatment of workers. However Tescos is owned in part by lying tory Dame Shirley 'Homes for Votes' Porter so both are pretty bad. Also they are a bit common- I would suggest Waitrose, it's the civilised persons Co-op!

No but I don't know of any MP's who own any supermarkets!

They could be owned by the BNP or the Communist Party for all I care. If I dislike a politician, I make a point of not voting for them. Not buying food this week just ain't an option.
