A promotion for Walkers Crisps advertised 20,000 holidays to be won. A TV advert featuring Gary Lineker was widely aired.
It now turns put that only 800 holidays were actually given away. The competion was very difficult to win because key letters were extremely rare.
Walkers punishment for this unfair promotion? The advert has been banned. Since the competition finshed weeks ago, Walkers were not going to show the advert again anyway.
