Thursday. Non of the promised frost this morning. Just as well, the rosemary is in bloom and the mint is growing, I'll soon have some of both fresh for cooking. Wonderful.

It's mild out, with a gentle breeze, but there is a threat of a drop or two of rain.

Two days to the rugby. Ireland v Italy first on Saturday.

Have a happy day everyone.

struggling a bit cant get rid of this damn cold/flu been a month now but there you go! supposed to be warming up a bit fingers crossed
Question Author
That's not good mate. Sounds like a bit more than a cold or flue to me mate. Have you been to your GP?

Yes, spring is in the air. I know I've said it before, but we need a summer like '76 to dry things out properly. If we don't, we desperately need a dry winter!
yes been to docs had the flu jab always knocks me for six but i have it because of my diabetes( which is well under control) not much more i can do m8 just get on with it
Question Author
Rest is what you need then mate. It's all that's left. It does work. I promise.

Question Author
I'll pass on your cuddles mate. You should take some time off. Your health is more important. :o}

Have a good'un mate.
morning boaty xx and bernie xx
Question Author
Morning jan my lovely xxx How are you this morning? Bernie asked me to give all the girls cuddles for him. ;o}
Cuddles received and appreciated.
Nothing much to do today apart from the never ending ironing mountain.
Tried, and failed, to make a start on the garden yesterday but it's still waaayyy too muddy. It's a north facing back garden and will probably take forever to dry out a bit. I'll make another another today.
As for the ironing mountain,I'll make a start on the ascent today but may have to return to base camp for a lie down.
Question Author
I know the feeling jan. I have some ironing to tackle too. Not my favourite pastime. I got a bit done in the garden yesterday. I'll try and do a bit more today.

Time for me to go. Say hello to Alba and minty and of course Welshy.
Bye for now. I'll make a start on the lower slopes of the ironing mountain and may reach the summit this time next year.
