This is totally unimportant really but for some reason it's bugging me cos I can't remember who it was !!........................... A few years ago a comedian collapsed and died after coming off stage. He was found dead in his dressing room.

are you thinking of Tommy Cooper, who I believe died on stage..

No, this was only a few years ago and he was found in his dressing room.

Yes sara he did die as the curtains came down and everyone thought it was part of his act and clapped..........he actually died smiling. Can't think of one who was found dead.

Sid James was a much loved actor form the Carry On films who died in his dressing room during a show in Sunderland in 1976.

No, that was 32 years ago. This was within the last few years. It's really bugging me now !

Arthur Lucan (Old Mother Riley) also died in his dressing room many years ago, as did Bernard Breslaw

Sid died of a heart attack onstage. His dressing room is supposed to be haunted by him. Les Dawson saw him at one time and refused to speak about it ever again.
