Whilst I'm doing overtime thy lord and master is busy throwing together a chicken madras from the Hairy Bikers Cookbook. We've got rice, poppadoms and Keema Nan to accompany.

Then we'll kick back and watch a film.

What are you dishing up today?

"thy lord and master"

Hu dat den ??
I am doing jerk chicken. I will griddle the chicken and finish off under the grill. I am doing roast sweet potatoes and have made a coleslaw and green salad. Wine is cooling in the fridge. Will be eating early today as my son has come down and will want to leave early.
I've got some slow cooked belly pork for lunch...and I'm living dangerously and having a veggie meal later. Something I don't often do.
Why do you call him 'thy lord and master'? It makes you sound like you're under the thumb.

Not sure what we're having yet.

Belly pork is a firm favourite of mine, Pasta.

Sharon, I've never even tried Jerk chicken...
Hi, NoM....as I have been asked to make a special quilt for a friend I shall find something quick in the freezer and then spend a happy few hours going through my fabric stash......
Anything but cook, eh?.... :-)

He sure as 'eck ain't mine.
Nomercy, you don't know what you're missing. It's lovely if you like spicy food. I can give you the recipe I use if you like.
We brought a jerk mix back from the Caribbean, followed the instructions and it was so hot it was completely inedible.
Prudie, have to use it sparingly.

I wouldn't mind, Sharon, as his lordship keeps mentioning it all the time.

I don't blame You, Gness. I have to be in the mood for cooking these days.
I could (if the wolves were at the door) lash together a veggie curry and some basmati rice from the larder & store-cupboard, or possibly a bacon sarnie & some chips ... but I think I'll probably just mosey down into town & have a pie & a pint later :)
you haven't got crabs then dave?
Question Author
Good plan, Dave, good plan :-)
