Who is Stuart??
Not got sky, but listening on TMS, is it as nasty as it sounds?
Question Author
Stuart Broad.
Stuart Broad, Maggie.
Made me wince.
Question Author
He's gone off with a very bloody nose. The ball got stuck in the face shield.
Thanks, still none the wiser but gather he's a cricketer who had a bad injury.
Question Author
He was lucky not to lose an eye, in my opinion.
Wouldn't be surprised if he has a broken nose.
Question Author
Stuart didn't come on the pitch at the end of the match. Well done, England.
As cricketers are always referred to by their surnames it took me a while to realise you meant Broady. lol.
Question Author
I always call him Stuart otherwise he might get mixed up with his dad.
The cause of Broady's injury was the wearing of a helmet. It provides a false sense of security. As (I think it was) Sir Geoffrey once said "Batsmen don't need helmets. They have a bat to stop the ball hitting them in the face"
I read he was going to have to play wearing a mask in the next match, tilly.
Stuart Broad practises in nets before England’s fifth Test with India...
