A warm welcome to all who dare enter Nungate Towers this evening, we plan an evening full of delight and deliciousness for all. Tonight's tailcock will be the "Aurora Borealis" in honour of the widespread sightings of the Northern lights this week - guaranteed to "light" up our festivities. Also on offer is the customary selection of volly vonts and canapes, Scoff has excelled himself with tonight's hot plate - Toad in the Hole with onion gravy
(real toads of course) also on offer lentil soup and bread rolls, there will also be vegetarian dishes on offer, nut roast or bean burgers. On the pudding trolley apple dumplings and custard and sugared mice (freshly caught by the Towers cats)
Yet again the Minstrels will be in the gallery to play a selection of madrigals and fugues and tonight as a special treat they will be joined by local band "The Tone Deafs" in a selection of barber shop favourites. Bungee jumping is also available for those brave souls (weather permitting) and the Muckleflugga Fisherman's Choral Society will be performing a selection of sea shanties and lullabies in the music room.
The Great Hall sack race for the Towers saucer will be held later tonight, all wishing to enter are requested to enter their name on the form on the console table in the vestibule.
The offering for tonight's rofl includes a skein of tangled wool (the cats again) 1 fish tank filter (used) and half completed Times crossword from January 1947.
Carriages have been ordered for midnight

And he sees us staring at him,
He look back at his AB friends,
And he sees us giggling.
We all talk about you, Excelsior,
Your eyes and all,
Whenever we ABers are around each other,
We feel like we are about to fall.
The girls are falling for you,
Falling over head and head,
They've been stuck a lot,
With clouds above their beds.
Raining over you,
Until a boy comes and saves you,
From this Midlands fire breathing goat,
And is your hero for eternity, all over your throat.
We know that on AB you're single,
Don't get us wrong,
But QoM hopes you'll hook on up,
And it will be for long.
But beware, if she sees you in the hallway,
And you're kissing another girl,
It will break herheart,
And nungate will tear up your world.
QoM's falling for you, Excelsior
Falling over head by head,
There's this cloud,
Always been above her Tinkerbell bed.
It won't leave her room,
Until a llama saves her says she,
And loves her for a long time,
For eternity.
We're falling over,
Falling over nothing but air,
It seems like you Excelsior, have found your true love,
And when you look QoM's way you don't even care.

Good evening all. I can't say I am happy about having to take my machete out of my handbag.
For the raffle I offer:
Half a jar of anchovies
17 odd socks
A service manual for a Datsun 120A FII coupe, circa 1983
A book - Teach Yourself the Accordian (all pages relating to the left hand are missing)
A Polish-Slovakian dictionary
Under my sparkly party frock I am wearing trainers ready for the sack race

Sorry to be so late. Got my false eyelashes and sequins caught up in my chain mail. Had to eat dinner on the broom. Eric feared for his bristles an Malkin kept stealing the chicken balls. At least I had the rice.
For the rueful I have a silver plated quaich, a defunct doorbell, two Phillips screws and a joss stick holder.
An aurora would be appreciated.
