Good evening Milady, Butler and all guests, a slightly more pleasant day here, even saw ducklings on the moat - do hope the Croc is engrossed in his gambling.

The buffet table is a veritable Smorgasbord, laden with all sorts of delicacies, for those requiring warmth a large vat of Borscht is a simmer with polish flatbreads too.

For the Rofl:

Ice cube tray (shamrock shaped)
3 'C' batteries (flat)
4 large beige coat buttons
packet of assorted bodkins (not the bare kind)
Question Author
Hello Mamya, how lovely to see you again.
And how appropriate that you have prepared a smorgasbord tonight , what with The Bridge being on and all.

I must admit to a bit of disappointment that the bodkins are not bare. Still, we cannot have everything.
Good evening mi lady, are you in residence or galivanting, I have for the raffle an half eaten Spanish omelette
How remiss of me to fail to mention my latest and may I say one of my best yet recipes....

Tonight's Tailcock is the Glitz, not bling but pure shining sophistication in a glass or bucket for that matter.
Question Author
Thank you , Owd. I am indeed in residence tonight.
I may depart for The Bridge, though.
Evening m'lady et al. i have a couple of items for the rofl if you think they'll be appreciated;

1 pr mens XL waterproof trousers (slightly split in the bum seam) - courtesy of Mr Helmet
One egg timer (cracked)

Is LiK not here to take my fuchsia pashmina?
Good evening Milady et al. Ah, Borscht - just the thing to warm the cockles of your heart - a small bowl if I may. Sun was shining today, but still a slight chill in the air.

For the rofl:
Pair of knitting pins size 10 (one slightly bent)
Nokia mobile phone - old model - charger missing
Rainmate
Crochet hook
Good evening m'lady, Matron & guests.

For this week's rofl, I can offer as prizes -

A decrepit office chair - surplus to requirements
Assorted new & used inks for a stupid, useless, dead printer
Bottle of banana liqueur (unopened!)

I shall begin serving flagons of Glitz & hiding all the soggy outerwear immediately.
Question Author
Oh dear, Mamya. I was going to have a 'liver' day today and be alcohol free, but I do not think I can possibly resist a bucketful of Glitz.
Thank you .
Fresh and delicious with an underlying charm and an aftertaste of sheer power.
Tailcocks, tailcocks! Get 'em while they're Glitzy, they're lovely!

Miss lardhelmet - so that's fuchsia... Rest assured, your pashmina is in safe hands.
Glitz?? How innovative my dear Mamya, just the thing to tickle the palate. A schooner if you please.
Question Author
Welcome to all and thank you so much for the raffle prizes.

Hope I win the crochet hook....there's been something stuck down the side of the settee for weeks that I'm sure the hook will help to get out.

Wouldn't mind the coat buttons and the bodkins too, even if they are not bare.
Would a flagon be acceptable, miss maggiebee?
Question Author
Lardhelmet...does Mr Helmet know that you have taken his trousers ?
I don't like to think of him sitting around trouserless.....
I trust you implicitly LiK. I'll have one of those Glitzy thingies while they're fresh please
Would that make Mr Helmet a 'bare bodkin'?
A flagon lie-in? Now you're spoiling me. Oh go on then.
I don't know his build you see
Question Author
A palpable hit, Mamya!
A bit early for palpating, maybe after a Glitz or two
