@blythebarrow - I think it's more likely to be University Challenge (see the big clue on the quiz page - bottom left under the rules of the quiz in the Like these.. Try this box-out)
@blythebarrow the clue doesn't refer to the torchwood logo... It is a torch which appears to be made of wood, simple as that (at least that's my interpretation). As for paxman, I'm going with newsnight as I'd say he's more famous for that
@funkykitten007: I don't think it's Mongrels - because they don't look enough like puppets. But, saying that - I have this evening seen those dogs in the BBC One "Winter Wonderland" trailer (which was shown just before EastEnders) suggesting that those dogs DO belong to a BBC programme of some description...
@blythebarrow sorry I've changed my mind about paxman after seeing dataheadaches last post
Thanks everyone for your help. I feel a bit foolish for asking as noone is talking about the one that I'm stuck on but can anyone shed light on the chess piece and the union jack?
@Parrottboy: John Bishop's Britain
is the yellow sign above the skeletons head a clue ? if so wat does it stand for?
@mrpureceltic - no that is definitely not a clue.
What about the woman (and dog?) on the wall at the top right. Is it Downton?
Paxman is definitely University Challenge....his name appears exactly as a contestant's name would in the programme.
The dogs one could be that show on BBC Three set in (Essex?) where there was a dog showing competition and one of them wanted a custom dog outfit made?
@Midnigter - check the contents page of RT for your answer.
My first instinct with the clock was that it could actually be a roulette wheel, in which case it's Red or Black?
I like others am struggling with the dogs.
Has any one got it. You dont have to tell me the answer just say that it is findable, as I wonder if it has not yet been screened may be its on a show in December? Also stuck on the Magic Man, Golden Light and Skeleton. I have looked at peoples suggestions for these but dont think they are right.
Thanks for all the useful info.
Has any one got the Dogs? You dont have to tell us the answer just tell us that they have in fact been on TV already as I am wondering if they are on during December?
I am also stuck on the Magician, Golden light & skeleton. I have loked at what other have suggested but dont think they are right. eg Walking dead does not seem to have been on Terrestial TV.

Thanks to all those who have helped.
@scrappyguider, I'm not sure being on terrestrial tv is a criteria? Glee was on Sky1 this year, TOWIE on ITV2...
Here's a couple of suggestion that may or may not be correct - the torch could be Torchwood, there was a programme called Justice on BBC1 which I guessed could be the scales of justice figure, the bright light next to the planet could refer to Daybreak possibly and I have used the Fern show from Channel 4. For me its the pink wig and dogs which are beating me!!!
Hi im stumped in the 'silence will fail' I haven't seen no one post about it. And also the dogs, I have three answers - the great British party (there's a picture of William and Kate bottom left next two Hillary), Mad Dogs (but this is on sky one so does this count?) also super tiny pets (think this was on bbc three) also the statue, man below statue and the clock. I'm happy to give out my answers if any one else needs help. Thanks

The wig would be - Mary queen of frocks/shops
The planet would be frozen planet
Sorry read last post wrong agree it the light could be daybreak
I think they have to be Freeview channels. Wasn't Glee on E4 earlier this year, for the 2nd season, and then recently switched to Sky1 in September. I don't know, I don't watch it. Also, I thought Daybreak, but then, somehow I have 51. Stuck on the dogs. I was going with Mongrels. Also, can't work out the red rose. Can't be The Tudors, unless repeats count.
