Indeed a clever heroic lad with great Prescence of mind.
Over this side of the pond, these days ,he would probably be disqualified and summoned for no driving licence, L plates and insurance. Lucky bus driver as well but he would probably have to surrender his licence and find another job.

Great stuff :)
the driver had enough time to stop the bus his / her self when starting to feel ill, a good 15secs before the lad came up. why did the driver just carry on ?
Well done, young man!
I love the adult way he spoke to the others on the bus. A really bright young man. The bus driver is a woman.
Yes, remarkably clear thinking and fast action. Well done!
Well done indeed :-)
"he would probably be disqualified and summoned for no driving licence" - yeah the police are pretty wild in dear old blighty arent they retro ?

and his mum wd say to the tv cameras, I am only grateful to our great British police they didnt assault him a la Couzens, or take him into care ( or both). ( and then blame you, someone shouts from the crowd)

yeah for a blackout - - -
do you know what ? ( what ? the whole of AB whispers)

I reckon - - - the faint - - anyone fainted or seen one? They slump in the chair. She didnt. She waved her right hand, and went 'woo woo'. It is on camera, and I dont think it is a faint. No flopsy in short

Grand mal - nope - nothing like that

Petit Mal ? Hmm, not sure. is it the first or has she done it before ( whilst not driving)

so I think there is a back-story and I await with interest further events

What ever your diagnosis you guess to be correct it does state that the driver lost consciousness after a faint. That was a fact.
You might recall the Scottish dustcart driver who killed a queue of Christmas shoppers a few years back. He, apparently, lost consciousness at the wheel. I believe he originally was a bus driver previously and lost his PCV licence for blacking out. He somehow conned HGV testers to give him a HGV licence
Heroes really do exist!
Well done that young fella. Blimey!
