Friday. Overcast, again, At least it was dry during the night. tiggy made the most of it and is still out and about. Good to see him enjoying himself after all the wet nights.

It was warm and sunny yesterday, I was able to get some weeding done. A wee bit of rain and they spring up like weeds! :o} I hope to get some more done outside today.

Very well indeed actually.

The family is away so I had a very early night.
Now I'm raring to go.

Just work, driving a supermarket lorry.

I've just kicked a very confused cat out.
He's got to stay locked in all day so he's on an enforced run.

He is nearly sixteen so sleeps all day anyway.

He's had a good life then. Where will you be driving from and to?

Anywhere round the south east - we do quite long runs from our depot.

The cat's not very happy with me it's normally him that wakes us up.

I had a spell as a HGV driver when I left the army, a 24 ton tipper and a 24 ton flatbed, used for bricks from the brickyard to the customer. I was the only driver with two lorries. :o} I liked gong both, but in the 70's it didn't pay very well.

That was in Hampshire by the way.

They are easier to drive these days - all automatic gearboxes.

Doh, sorry. New hip, plate and screws removed from femur and leg lengthened back to where it used to be so hopefully no more built up left shoes.
