Good Morning Early Birds!

Wednesday. There is a big moon shining, bright enough to not need a torch outside. Wonderful! :o}
It is rather chilly however, so not much action going on in wildlife land. They've all been out and done their foraging and gone home quickly. Sensible animals.
I'd better start clearing stuff out of the way ready for the workmen on Monday. The 'office' will get done today as it is the one that needs the most moving, the rest will take about ten minutes each.
I have a boatman's funeral to attend on Friday. A parade of 50 boats going from Saul to Gloucester docks. That's going to be an impressive sight!
Have a happy day everyone.

Hope you are well.
Sorry to hear the news about your friend Boaty, but am sure he will be looking down at the brilliant floatilla with pride xxx What a wonderful thing to do in his honour.
Moon is bright as a button here too and the owls are screeching merrily in the woods at the back. OH has gone to the coast sailing with his Bro off Skegness Nature reserve with high tide being about now, he should be bobbing about with a cup of tea.
Dog walked very early, lots of blackbirds scurrying away and squirrels chucking acorns on our heads which is a great alarm clock for when you're walking round half asleep. Kittens x2 going banannas for 'jingle toys' currently and ignoring the food with de-wormer granules in with a vengeance. Pickle the cat has fluffed up beautifully with her new winter coat and looks like a panther, albeit a tiny one and is purring away happily next to the laptop fan.
Long day ahead, meeting some random americans doing a tour of the business so have been told to 'try and look like a girl' for the day - hobnail boots away then, and heels on - may even 'do' my mop of a head lol.
Whats everyone got planned for the day then? xx

Good Thanks, They're starting to come out of their shells a bit now, they are x2 kittens (from different litters as on is a few weeks older) and they are feral as they were rescued by the sanctuary from a farm, but we're spending a lot of time with them to get them used to us and one has started to sit on my knee for a snooze which, considering they were hissing and scratching and running away from us two days ago is quite something :-)
thanks Jan...Peas did not relaize you had two new furballs.ahhh that`s nice...I would love a cat but with no back door for a cat flap, had door removed, kitchen window replaced with larger one and units fitted around, with back access via glass sliding doors from lounge, so would not have one as I really think cats should be able to come and go freely...
