Question Author
That should be 7a
5 rifled
4 looks like it is galosh (as opposed to galoshes)
7 Hasn't a few suggested this was Art??
Question Author
ART doesn't fit in with RIFLED or LOOTED
I'm not clear on your layout, if those 2 were correct what would you have for the sorcery one? A??
Obi ?
BTW rifled is likely as it's the correct name for the scoring found inside gun barrels (and also means stolen)
obi (ˈəʊbɪ) or obeah
n, pl obis or obeahs
1. (Other Non-Christian Religions) a kind of witchcraft originating in Africa and practised by some West Indians

2. (Other Non-Christian Religions) a charm or amulet used in this

[of West African origin; compare Edo obi poison]
Question Author
A?I ....if RIFLED for5d

A?O....if TOOLED for 5d
Think we have cracked it together.
5d also seen as rifled?
Rifled is right, yes.
Well done mamya, never seen that spelling before.
Question Author
Thanks all ....I think I will go for the alternative spelling i.e. GOLOSH which then fits in with OBI and RIFLED
Nor me but seems is specifically 'singular'
Team effort all round.
