Is this Answer Correct?

I was struggling with a clue this morning,here it is : Vessel for buster man,possibly (9 letters) ?U?M?R?N?
The answer given was "SUBMERINE"but I have jist noticed it is not an anagram of "buster man" as was indicated by the person who answered my question.
Has anyone any thoughts on this please.
