Just wondered when you put your decorations up? I came home from work on Monday to find my next door neighbour putting all her lights up and the garden ornaments. They were actually very nice but isn't that a bit early?
We won't be having a Christmas tree this year anyway as we don't have the room but there is a lovely c.mas shop nearby which happens to be in a place called Christmas Common. We usually pop up there with my sisters kids around the second week of december to get the tree so I will probably find a few nice little bits to put in the house but that's about it.
I don't bother now. Not worth it since the kids grew up. And be fair, it just gathers dust and looks really sad after Christmas when you are waiting for twelfth night to take the damn things back down. I think I am becoming a Christmasphobe - is that right for someone who doesn't like Christmas? I shall have to practise saying Bah, Humbug.
normally about a week before, my son has PICA so he tends to start eating the decorations if they are up too long, I take them down when the kids go back to school
Cazz, I'm not sure if I am supposed to laugh at that but it did make me giggle. Sorry.
Now, taking them down is a whole other matter. One of my sisters kept hers up until April! APRIL! She says it's because her son said he wanted them up for his birthday.
