Two weeks ago today I underwent emergency surgery to remove a gangrenous portion of bowel. I've been home for 2 days and I have a long road to recovery ahead of me.
Two things I want to say - life is sweet....and I've missed you lot xx

I'm spending today slobbing in my pj's. Have made a vow to start getting dressed next week
big abdo scars fade to silvery in a couple of years take care of yourself that was a really big scare.. glad to see you back... I am sure folk will try to keep you amused

Sqad - it started out from an umbilical hernia. The surgeon said there were 2 abcesses, the bowel was perforated and part of it had gangrene
mrs_O....not nice....painful and distressing. York or Scarborough?
