In Tescos -had to park in one of the spaces which doesnt see the light of day all year apart from...............Armageddon (oops sorry 3 days before Christmas !) I rattled round picking up cat food, bog roll, the paper some milk, a loaf some juice for my son who is coming up when we are away -just a normal day -was it eff -there were husbands and wives with a trolley each -she's hanging on to the trolley like grim death in case something should coup out it . First time ive left Tescos with a HUGE grin on my face -fools -lol

Same here, knobby and dot,
Practically fought to get parked in Tesco car park, walked into the store, took one look at all the trolleys packed to the gunnels, then walked out again.
Oh JOY!

Hi figure.

O its baltic here and foggy ????

Suppose its a freezing fog -anyway -its the coldest i remember for years -rather that than black ice and snow tho.
the shops open again on boxing day folks
Well, it must be different round here, cos I had to go to the supermarket in my lunchbreak (1:15pm) and ok, it had a few extra oap's in there, fighting over the brussels sprouts, but it seemed to be no busier than normal for a Friday.... maybe everyone waited until this evening to go fill their trolleys with huge quantities of unnecessary food.

I bought:- 3 carrots, 3 parsnips, 1 savoy cabbage, some mushrooms, a bunch of leeks, 3 large potatoes and 2 limes - not exactly panic buying lol (oh,,,, the limes are for my G'n'T)
and after xmas they buy loads more rubbish for the new year!
Yeah, I went to Morrisons today, for some milk. It was like the first day of Harrods' sale!! Talk about panic buying, it's like they're laying in for a seige!! I'm feeling virtuous, as I was ready for Christmas weeks ago. I've got home-grown veg., and K Jnr won a turkey in a pool match. It's just the 2 of us, so nothing much different from the rest of the year. Oh, I did buy the dogs a chewy bone each for their Christmas pressies.
