How are you all managing the new site ? I am getting used to it, in a few days we won't remember the old one. Probably my imagination, but there seems like there is more advertising, can't blame ED though.

Advertising....yes, I get a box that keeps reminding me of Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine, so if i start quoting cat poetry... blame it on that! :-)

It's running smoothly enough for now, despite a couple of hiccups at launch yesterday.

Am I fan? no, not really, I didn't see anything wrong with the old site. I do however appreciate mobile users were struggling with the old version and I know I'll eventually get used to this as I have done with the countless other versions I've seen AB have in the past.

It's all working well enough for me.

Much better on small screens than the old site.

There are a few wrinkles I'd like to see ironed out on the laptop/desktop display (mainly to do with spacing, font sizes and the rather glary over-use of white backgrounds), but nothing too serious.

It's important to have advertising to keep the site alive. Pity that it doesn't seem possible to finance such a wonderful site along the lines of say Wikipedia

Sam, assuming you are using a pc, hold CTRL and wiggle the mouse wheel. Or hold CTRL and press the minus sign

I really liked the old site and will miss it, but apparently it wasn't easy to use for everyone, bit like this one for me !

Thank you so much for explaining the zoom thingy. I had reduced the zoom through settings yesterday, but all other websites were also reduced (not a huge problem, but a tad annoying). Your method has reduced zoom on this site and normal service is resumed on the others.

Personally I don't like the format. I used to be able to choose which section I would like under homes and gardens i.e. DIY, gardening etc., and I can't seem to do that now.
