Sad Day For Me

...I was made redundant. Feeling all over the place but I have a list of what I need to do so will get on that tomorrow.

I will have many memories of my time there and I hope I can build new ones wherever I end up

There was times I hated working there but I loved what I did. Sometimes I think it was the attitude of certain staff members that got to me a lot. But I'm going to try my best and get a good start somewhere.

Thank you Gness - it wasn't expected right now, we knew that something wasn't right for a while.

Tony, closing down on Saturday. Today was my last day as I began my holidays.

PP - get a redundancy package and I believe we are owed compensation due to not being given enough notice.

Thanks Tilly and Grasscarp. I think in the latter stages I wasn't enjoying it because of having to lie to customers because we didn't have a clue what was going on and I hated having to do that several times a day/week.

But shall see what awaits me on the other side :)

Queenie, I believe their supposed to give you 13 weeks notice, so they should pay you in lieu of notice.

It was a bit Pixie - I was half way up the road and I just started to cry. My friend was at the traffic lights when I appeared and she told me to get in she was taking me home.

I have no idea to be honest Tony. We only got 3 days notice.

the company can't pay me - we all filled in forms to be sent off to get a redundancy package and compensation - so I'm leaving it with them
