Good Morning Everyone
Such a sad day for me and other South Africans...Madiba has gone...I am feeling such a loss.. even though I am white ,I admired and loved him and wanted him to live forever!!
He was the prop of the country who kept everything in control...what now...now it has gone???

I hope the period of mourning will be mixed with celebration of his life.

It's scary to think what South Africa would be like if NM had not come along.

Oh,he will be celebrated...no doubt about that!!!
Kloof I don't think it matters what colour you are - the world will be mourning the loss of a great man today, I always thought he came across as a very humble and gracious man, never bitter.

It will be a strange person who slates Madiba today.
How could you want him to live forever kloof? The poor old man was old and very ill?
Kloofje - look North to Z to see what it could have been like...

and also reflect that you, like so many whites have joined a diaspora -
will this be looked on a line in the sand ?

When I saw Zuma sweating - I thought god this fella needs a shower.....
Madiba could have so easily have been like our uncle in Zim but he wasn't. He was forgiving , hopeful humble and a truely great man. I feel sorry that he spent the lastsix months of his life with a tube down his throat. He is at rest now but his legend will live forever.
kloof, no disrespect, but I wonder why you felt the need to post '' even though I am white '' ?
He was a lovely man who will be remembered and greatly missed. We hope and pray that his legacy of peace will live on in South Africa. Our thoughts are with your country today.
No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin or his background or his religion. People must learn to hate.
And if they can learn to hate they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
