I Need To Go Shopping :-(

Both pairs of my preferred every day jeans are indicating that they will soon give up the ghost.

I need to buy some new ones and I absolutely hate buying jeans, I honestly cannot think of a more tedious way of spending a day.

Does anyone fancy going shopping for me and bringing a massive pile of jeans to my home for me to try on in comfort and at leisure.......and then taking the rejects back?

TIA

You need a personal shopper, eccles.... :-)
I hate shopping as well, if I find something I like I tend to buy several pairs to save me shopping again
I always use ebay for jeans, pick up some designer ones for a fraction of the cost. Diesel, boss, ted baker etc for £20, laughing.

me too cazzz. I have a daily winter uniform of marks and sparks denim or corduroy jeggings and cotton trader sweatshirts. Cheap, tidy, comfortable and no ironing.
what do you like?
Boot-cut?

The rejects though would have to be my size so I could snaffle them :-D
I hate shopping too so I'll leave you to it...

I can't buy on line as I'm an awkward shape...... long legs and a long body. Too many jeans expose my backside without me needing to bend over!

Alba I wear skinny and boot cut, I compromise on preferred cut in favour of fit :-(
Have you tried these, eccles? http://www.longtallsally.com/c/tall/sale/jeans
Am offski to Asda on Friday, will that help?

Mr alba needs new denims too. I'll get a taxi back with a load of selections :-)
Take the taxi straight to eccles' place, alba!
Can you get jeasn with an elasticated waist band?
If so get me a pair please - money no object - I am prepared to go to £9.99 for one pair!!!!
Remember the days of jeans shopping before they had a fibre of Lycra or Elastane, everything rigid - didn't matter how slim you were ,finding the right fit was a nightmare.
I agree Mamyalynne hooray for elastane and lycra.
I can remember having to sit in the bath in a new pair of Levi's ( long time ago ) , they were shrink fit then. Used to have Indigo legs for days after.

Boxtops, the last time I went to LTS in search of jeans they were either really mumsy and sitting on my waist or so low slung I was at risk of arrest for indecent exposure. It may be time to see if they had adjusted their cut though.

Alba, that is a lovely suggestion......you're picking up the cable fare though, right?

Mamya, there is a lot to be said for the girdle effect of rigid jeans!

When the water has subsided in the local towns I'll venture, reluctantly, forth.....
what about the days of flares mams, were they brilliant?
I'll bring a wine box too :-)

Elastic waistbands are both lovely and treacherous at the same time, keep safety pins handy in case the elastic goes when you're in town.

My door is always open to visitors bearing wine Alba......
Why don't you just paint your legs blue, eccles ...:-)
