maybe I need more than one? :-)
"maybe I need more than one?"

That's a real possibility. Try mixing the next one with Sprite or fizzy lemonade (and, of course, plenty of ice).
because on holiday you've already shifted a few beers/cocktails or whatever and your tastebuds are in a state of shut down
Ouzo = cheap Pernod imo.
I think they keep the best for themselves and shuffle the rest off at inflated prices to the rest of the world viz champagne.
Probably not the same stuff. French bread sold in this country is not French bread; it is English bread in the shape of a baguette.
Ouzo = cheap Pernod imo.
Think you have that backwards.
Ouzo is made from grapes, apple and sweet anise seeds.
Pernod is mad by an industrial process with added sugar and artificial colouring.
Talking about the taste,rojash.
I though ouzo was fantastic when I had my first glass 30 years or so, but went of it by the tenth or eleventh....it made me a bit queasy :0/
