I once knew a time when I along with others could walk down our streets wearing our uniforms with pride.

Typical of how thick these thugs were, they didn't know the difference between an Airforce uniform and a Army one.

/// What was he thinking going out in a 50 year old jacket? ///

/// Who did he save us from.? The sheep shaggers. ///

A couple of lines from that almighty defender of racism, the same person who sets himself up as the moderator of answerbank GROMIT.

1/ This old chap should feel free to walk the streets, wearing what he likes without fear of attack from cretins such as these two.

2/ /// The sheep shaggers /// If he was referring to the 'Falkland Islanders' then isn't he being blatantly RACIST or doesn't it count, seeing that the islanders have white faces.

jno

/// Fortunately, aog didn't post this because of any racial content but because young people can't tell the difference between uniforms, so he's in the clear.///

/// being able to distinguish different uniforms is a matter of education, not intelligence. I hope today's teachers are not spending too much time lecturing people on how to tell an Army uniform from an RAF uniform; life has other lessons that need to be learnt much more urgently. ///

You do talk a load of drivel jno, Rather than condemn the actions of these two thugs, you would rather take the opportunity to take the attention away from this savage crime by focusing on the matter of the uniform.

For your information I mentioned the uniform because this was relevant to the crime, because this low life attacked this old man simply because he was wearing a uniform jacket.

Their chants of 'Bomb the soldiers! Death to the soldiers!' also gave me the opportunity to further highlight the fact of how thick these two must be, simply because almost everyone ( I did not mention, young people) would know the difference between the Army uniform and the Air force uniform.

incidentally knowing the simple difference between the two uniform has nothing to do with education., but plenty to do with intelligence and of course knowledge, GENERAL KNOWLEDGE that is.

Why was VHG's answer removed, I could find nothing offensive in it?
AOG I found it both sad and disturbing when reading about a soldier who had lost his limb, saying he had mates younger than the thuggish louts that protested in the guise of students, who were laying down their lives for this country

AOG # I along with others could walk down our streets wearing our uniforms with pride. #

Oh yes and what uniform did you wear ?
What's going on with the AB moderators?

They seem very zealous in removing posts lately. I've been on a few threads now and lots and lots of posts have been removed. One thread has seen the removal of every single post that someone called L33 made, so I've no idea what he or she was talking about – apart from reading the responses from other peoples' posts that haven't been removed.

It's like listening to one side of a telephone conversation and trying to piece together what the person at the other end of the line is saying.

Come on AB moderators – lighten up. If someone makes overtly inflamatory comments, they'll soon be pounced upon by the (mostly) liberal contributors.
I don't know what VHG said as I've come into this thread too late, but I assume his posts have been removed because Answerprancer reported them for racism.

Criticising our immigration policy is not racism - to suggest such is to misunderstand what racism is.
I agree completely with Birdie and Flip Flop.
He was a banned user.
VHG isn't though Jack.
That's what I was thinking...
With you all the way aog, Kids of today, and I use that loosly, have no general knowledge at all, you only have to watch the weakest link or egg heads for confirmation.. and show them a crossword well .............
Ah, sorry..........I didn't realise that the '-answer removed-' referred to more than one contributor.

VHG isn't usually troublesome, is he ?
"Criticising our immigration policy is not racism".

It wasn't a question of immigration although one or two of the thickos that buy into that type of bullsh!t 'reporting' from the Daily Wail soon fell into the trap that was set for them (ie. mentioning unnecessarily the ethnic origin of the protagonists).

Here are the two lines from the *one* post that I reported:

"if you dont control who comes into the country this is the sort of thing you get"

"immigrant scum" .

You call *that* "immigration policy" ?
aog You haven't answered my question what service and uniform did you ever wear ?

I say old chap, give me time I have only just this minute read your post.

I really can't understand why you are so interested, but if you really must know, it was the uniform of the Royal Air Force (RAF).

For your added information, one cannot 'wear a service'.
I'm interested because you are quick to pick on others on military matters especially the army of which you know little.

Why do you have to be so offensive, I am prepared to correct any misinformation a mere Ex-Airman has given regarding the Army, as long that it is not misinformation, according to your own opinion.
