Would you really want a product that you advertise as a love/hate thing to be associated with the BNP?

To some it might seem that they have sponsored the BNP or have at the very least worked along side them!
So a big NO if I was anything to do with Marmite I would stay away from them as much as possible.

tongue in cheek Sherm!
tongue in cheek as in your post or that marmite should look at it as tongue in cheek?

As in my post, I can see shy Marmite would not want to be associated with the BNP.
There's no such thing as bad publicity.
That reminds, me ... I'm getting low on Marmite.

( adds "Marmite" to shopping list )
Really Panic?

Ever heard of a bloke called Gerald Ratner? - he tends to think otherwise
there is bad publicity if you endorse the BNP!

I agree that THIS publicity does well for them. They get to make statements and get on t.v this is great. but dont agree that if they supported them or even allowed their products to be used by BNP willingly that it would be good for them.
well clearly marmite have not given permission for this so the BNP probably looking at being sued.
I often have to seek product placement products and ive also seen what happens when permission is not sought and the item is used - even if its in a positive way, the companies generally do not like it.
use a brand name without permission - get into trouble. I'll stop eating Marmite if the BNP endorse it!
Marmite would have to pay a fortune in advertising to get talked about this much.
Well yes, that''s another way of looking at it!
Well I'm sure they don't pay anything to get talked about on AB, and they do get talked about on here often.
Apparently the Unilever advert for Marmite was a fake election broadcast by the "Hate Party", probably a dig at the BNP. The BNP are no slouches at getting their own back.
I suppose Marmite is like the BNP! you either love it or hate it!
There was a racist joke doing the rounds featuring Marmite the other week, it's tenuous, but that could be a link.
The BNP couldn't pay for the publicity that they are getting from this at the moment!

Ironic that they seem to be supporting something that is black!
