It’s probably the Labour party or someone else’s fault.

19:33. Nope, never said you did.
bednobs: 19:23, nope never said that.
I said only 3 different Labour leaders have ever won an election 4 if you count Blair. That's not the same thing.
19:40 that post said:
"With only 9% lead mid term it's looking like Sir Beer is unlikely to be the 4th Labour Leader to win a General election in 123 years so who is the likely successor? " - where does it say labour have won only 3 elections?
try reading what is actually written bednobs, it'll be an eye openner.
*snort
so I ask again bednobs, show me where I have said Labour have only won 3 elections.
Sun's over the yardarm I guess.
I have not touched a drop, bednobs is making false accusations.
Labour’s Shadow Leader of the House of Commons, Thangham Debbonaire was interviewed on Talk TV today, by Julia Hartley-Brewer. Out of the interview comes the point that Blair’s Labour Government bas provided with a report that included warnings on the RAAC problem in schools but in 18 years there seem to have done little or nothing about it in the 13 years in power. https://youtu.be/qGlaKB4J5pc?si=XYbTtZdfVAMJCoRA
Sorry that last phrase is wrong. It is 13 years not 18. and should read, not "but in 18 tears there", rather "they seem to have done............."

It’s not looking good for Sunak & the Tories.

An extract from the linked article:-

Myton, which has about 1,800 pupils, now receives about £35,000 a year in capital funding to spend on building maintenance - less than a quarter of the funding received in 2010, head teacher Andy Perry says.

I wonder which party was in power in 2009-2010.

TTT 19.33 "Nope never said that" ......Yes you did..YLTT... End of.
why don't you and bednobs find me an example then.

On countless occasions you’ve stated how poorly the Labour Party has done in UK general elections compared to the triumphant Tories. Your exact phrasing is moot. The thrust of your assertion is that there have been so many more Tory governments.

If this is true (and it certainly is), then the Conservatives must surely shoulder a greater proportion of the blame the the countries current ills.

Are their any figures(receipts would be a bonus) indicating where the maintenance budget was spent or was it purloined to promote other "fashionable agendas"? Remember that in 2010, and probably for years before then, the maintenance dosh was even more. I would bet that there has not been a builder on site, despite the school budget allowing for it, for decades. It will be the same story in every school in the country. Let the left wing control the money and they direct it into "schemes" of their own twisted choosing. Hide the evidence and blame someone else is the order of play every time.

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.” Mrs Thatcher.
sp: "On countless occasions you’ve stated how poorly the Labour Party has done in UK general elections compared to the triumphant Tories." - Yes but I have never said that they have only won 3 elections. Only 3 Labour leaders have ever won a GE 4 if you count Blair.
"Your exact phrasing is moot. The thrust of your assertion is that there have been so many more Tory governments. " it's not when what I am being accused of is not what I have ever said. There are countless contrarians and nit pickers on here that pick up on anything I say, I can do the same.
SP 21 .41 Spot on with that one. TTT has shot himself in both feet on this thread. ...... "Hallelujah"......
Still waiting for an example. Anyone?
