//He was expected to do something very few of us have to do - marry someone suitable out of duty//

With recent influxes the country may well return to that. "Forced"
marriages back in fashion now.
I can solve this little dilemma easily.

Get rid of the lot of them.

Nope...
Anyone keeping tally?
^^^ I'm with you YMF - their castles and palaces would make great tourist attractions (or housing for migrants!).
No. But she and Charles seem to be happy so she's won the heart that matters.
You know I was just answering the question:
has she 'won your heart' - honestly No
I don't wish her ill (I know they are a very happy couple)
I will never THINK of her as a rightful Queen

That doesn't mean I don't know that is what she is.
No, she hasn't won my heart and never will.
Re: O.P. I've always liked her.
I, too, never took to Diana but have never minded Camilla. Over the years I have liked her more and more. When you see the couple together they obviously share a good humour and she is supportive of him - remember the leaking fountain pen?! She knows how to behave.

Everybody deserves the chance to be in a loving and happy relationship and I believe they have found that now. We should be grateful to her for everything she does to keep Charles' temper under control. She is our Queen now and I am happy for that.
I wish them a safe and happy reigh for as long as health permits.

p.s. thank goodness I don't buy tampons any more or I would be looking for the Royal Warrant...
I find myself unable to get excited about something that doesn't and will never affect me.
She'll be a team player for the few years that we have this king, that's what she's there for.
Hip hip!
//Charles' temper // ?

Like being savaged by a dead sheep? He's a weak man.
//She'll be a team player for the few years that we have this king//

I think his 20 year reign will see a few of us out!
With a nose and complexion like his I would be surprised at 20years.

Rather looks like he likes a tipple or 10.
I don't think any of them have been averse to bending the elbow, CF Queen Mum, Princess Margaret!
Agree entirely with what Naomi said ages ago.

Seems a decent person me.
The King suffers from rosacea...which is usually most visible in the face. It's been mentioned in the media often enough.
I doubt very much it's life threatening...but go ahead and judge him and his life expectancy based on his red face.
She seems a decent enough person. I haven't got alot of time for the monarchy as a whole to be honest.
