According to Karen Adam msp, snp Aberdeenshire, anyway
She claims that “ calling someone lazy who isn’t (?) who has had some of the toughest jobs in government, and has been “successful” (?) in so many ways , is racism ????!
The question marks are mine , not from her quote in telegraph today
As far as I know he is widely referred by the U word up here, and by some snp msps.
Even if he is , and there is a body of evidence to support that view, how could this be construed as racist. WFM

It's not but the left always throw some sort if ist or phobic if they have no decent argument.

This fella's track record isnt good but like I said in another post at least give him a chance.
I read somewhere that he has a history of trouble with his briefs.

Some folk really miss C&A.
Question Author
He is not above accusations of racism himself, remembering the nursery school place saga, which turned out to be not so

Referring to another post about St Nicola of Irvine resignation According to Mr Y u******, the scandal over missing funds is not the reason , hmm let us wait and see
@16.57.The proper sensible government at Westminster should do the decent thing and pull the plug on this expensive mistake called Holyrood.Or"the wee toon cooncil parliament"as Billy Connolly called it.
Question Author
Ynnafymmi,
I want to agree, but as I am unaware of your ethic origin, and preferred gender pronoun, etc etc , agreement could be construed as racism by the SNP
Question Author
I think Mr B C’s reference to “wee toon concil” is because he thinks Holyrood is under the jackboot of Westminster, and only independence will bring a truly free government here in sconny botland. Not with this ship of fools in charge it won’t, not until they produce a rational workable plan of how they put an economy in place to do that, which they have still not done
@17.17.I have only three words to describe the SNP,aircooled. Two of them are..." the SNP".Okay.
Question Author
I totally agree, but in a respectful and non racist way, of course.
Unless you meant “up the SNP” then I don’t, sort of, depending on the context of the word UP, which has a different connotation up here
All politicians are useless.

she is allowed to have an opinion, innit
no matter how er useless
Question Author
Everyone is entitled to an opinion?
The problem with that is that those of us with at least half a brain will be inundated with thoughtless ignorant rubbish. Yes I know we can just ignore it, but we’re entitled to expect more thoughtfully expressed opinions from those who we elect and pay for. Karen Adam expressed an opinion that is arrant nonsense. Politicians are in positions of influence. Those who feel the need to talk nonsense should be discouraged from doing so, perhaps docking a few months salary might work. But I doubt that would stop our elected representatives from doing so . I don’t think Mr Burrell or Mr Humza U****** , or any other senior SNP figure will be having a word in her ear. So the nonsense continues, we deserve better!
Question Author
Mr Burrell could not of course , As he is under arrest for (alleged) worst things than talking ***
Murrell, and released without charge, "pending further investigation into party finances" apparently.
Just repeal the whole devolution fiasco and go back to how we were before St Blair uggered it bup.
Good idea TTT.
I agree, TTT.
