Anyone watching? Quite feisty from the off. Sunak has gone straight for the jugular, Truss actually looking competent for once.
How on earth did these two ever get on at government meetings?
Safe to say that the loser will not be getting a job in the cabinet.

//well nadine and liz don't go around flashing their underwear on the front bench in the House.//

Dorries prefers to flaunt her unrequited love via the media at every opportunity.
“Both though will have a tough time convincing the country that they’re not Johnson Revisited.”

Johnson will be forgotten about largely
Sunak is just nailing his own lid shut. I think He's forgotten who is voting in this contest.

Sunak more passionate and forthright, Truss not as convincing.

It’s already a done deal though, Sunak’s ethnicity just won’t wash with the 160,000 Party voters.
Very true fatti .

……and there’s confirmation.

Neither will win a GE though.
Fatti: "Neither will win a GE though. " - I think you'd be correct if you just remove the "N" - Real Labour will never win the leader of the Tories is irrelevant to that.

Again, nobody said Labour will win, least of all me.
Give your manic obsession the night off, it must be tired of running through your imagination.
Let's see you put money on this...Mikey, rip, had the decency to put a tenner at the bookies on the Cameron election on the basis of a spread bet on seats, I did too and won £150 on my forecast, some of it used to fuel a mutual pint when he came down here for a break from deepest Wales...
Chris Mason made that “debate “ sound interesting Well done Chris .
Truss is useless, she definitely will lose them the next election.
I doubt Labour is feeling that threatened by either of them but given the choice I think they would prefer to face Truss ;)
Fatti: "Again, nobody said Labour will win, least of all me.
Give your manic obsession the night off, it must be tired of running through your imagination. " - you said "Neither will win a GE though. " - I took that to mean neither of the candidates for the leadership. So you think the Tories will not win the GE and apparently neither will Labour so who does that leave? The Lib Non Dems? Is this some kind of riddle? You could try some straight talking.
riptide: "Truss is useless, she definitely will lose them the next election." - dream on an amoeba could beat Labour.

You ought to pay attention, you’d take a lot more in if you desisted with the rabid 5C nonsense and read what people have posted over the last few months.

I’ve said all along that Labour won’t win but will in all probability head a coalition government.
On account of their recent track record and sticking with a new leader too marked with the Johnson skid mark the Tories will lose the next GE, the three recent by elections were the Gypsies warning, they sat back and let Johnson get away with too much for too long, they’ve lost all trust with the electorate.

But no doubt those of us with that opinion will continue to be labelled 5C Marxist scum ad infinitum by Combat 18-lite.
DTC, dear old Mikey would have been in his element now. Personally I can’t see how anyone can be bothered to watch these two scrapping. Losers both. Neither of them is worth the time.
"On account of their recent track record and sticking with a new leader too marked with the Johnson skid mark the Tories will lose the next GE," - so who will win if not Labour and not the Tories?
Fatti, you have declared above in various posts that neither Labour nor the Tories will win the next GE, so who then?
Question Author
Which part of ‘head a coalition government’ are you struggling most with?
Ah, I see well whoever supplies the PM has won, so you are saying a Labour minority! Right oh! like pulling teeth!
I say the Tories will supply the PM as I have said all along, I am of course prepared to back that opinion.
