I think you have already decided the answer to that one.
We don't recognise anyone in France in need of fleeing as refugees. Although we understand desperation to get out ;-)
These people have been traumatized by what they've seen and experienced in their homelands.
In the peace of England they would be able to work on rebuilding their shattered nerves.
Let them come.
we may not have a choice, if they can get on anyone of the lorries that come over the channel then how do you stop it. We don't need more economic migrants, surely we have enough that come legitimately through the EU.
Search the vehicles on the ferries. Anyone found on there is not allowed to land and must stay on the ferry/chunnel train.
We want people to come here but we want professional individuals who want to adopt and embrace our culture not bring their own along with the hordes of family who suddenly seem to get 'oomaan rites' to come too.
we know thier last stop emmie and that was a safe country if it was the EU, the EU is quite clear on it's rules on that. So they came from France they go back to France, end of. If the French in turn decide that they too are going to abide by the EU rules they send them back too, all the way down the line to the country they entered into from outside the EU, then they apply there. They are the rules.

Well sandy, in the peace of Cologne Germany they should be able to work on rebuilding their shattered nerves ... but they seem more interested in fighting each other.
Why can they not leave their hate and prejudices at home?
