Thank goodness, my family member is OK. I'm thinking and praying for all involved, but particularly for the children and their parents. How horrible to save up and send your child on a trip to help their education and life chances and then hear this news. Awful, really awful for them. The parents of the injured French children will never forgive themselves.

Naomi- you are right about islam knowing no boundaries. Mikey is also right that a Trump style ban wouldn't have prevented the 7/7 bombings or this incident (if the reports of his identity are correct). I hope we don't forget the victims here, that lessons are learned and we don't jump to conclusions or see it as a chance to score points
