"Social services had been alerted to the Fees but had failed to take any action"
"His nursery had alerted social services, worried by a change in Liam, and the fact that he was losing weight and had a number of injuries"
"Liam's childminder had also made her concerns known"
"A senior Fife social worker admitted to the court that at one point Liam "fell off their radar".
Just like poor Daniel Pelka, this boy was tortured and killed, and the authorities should have protected him, but didn't.
Apparently, Fife Child Protection Committee is to carry out a significant case review.
So...... it won't happen again, .....well not until the next time of course.
Cases like make me physically sick.

It was preventable. The Authorities have already admitted that they failed the little lad.
Of course the horrible women are to blame. There will always be horrors like this couple, but that is why we have systems in place to prevent atrocities like this. And they failed, utterly.

I didn't realise that the boy they tried to frame for the murder is only seven years old!

The parents are lesbians more concerned with each other than with the child.
Know a Lesbian couple, I would not want them anywhere near a child.
They want a child but have spent 2 years now arguing over which of them will be 'Birth Mum' and how to arrange the conception. The arguments are often violent. I know that is just one example but the reports about this couple make me think that they may be 'of the same mold'
