another Panic Attack. This one is currently in progress, but it doesn't feel as bad, just want it to stop. I've got some music playing, sucking on a lolly ( I don't know why but I find it helps.
I also found coming on the other night helped greatly
QWEENIE - what helped me is to get a brown bag largish - put it over your nose and mouth together and take very very deep breaths. (holding tight around the mouth - not letting any air put - you know crumple the bag do it as often as you can nose and mouth - give it time and it works. bless xxxxx good luck have faith - I'd many and it worked.
I wish I could Sharon, but I have to work this afternoon :( but I will be having an early night tonight though will tell you that much. They will pass soon I hope.
Thank you Jennyjoan, I will try that. I'd gone 7 weeks without one then they started up again. I know they will stop I just want to know what's the trigger this time. But thank you xxx
Thank you Alba, hugs are good though.
I don't know what could be causing it, but I didn't think about that. I'll speak to my therapist too and see what she has to offer. I'm a bit wary of going back to my GP at the moment as the last one said its only a blip. But I'll be nabbing a paper poke from my work today and sleeping with it beside my bed.
hugs from me as well queenie. I can do that as well as hold hands. no more meds just someone who understands and comes up with practical suggestions. x
Thank you Alba, I think he reckons it's a blip because 7 weeks free, sore throat appears as did the first PA but I'll keep a bit of a diary and see if I can identify a pattern.
Thank you Lady J - they thankfully don't want to give me meds as they are too infrequent. As until March this year it had been 13/14 years since my last one. So I am glad about that. I've been looking at helpful hints on Pinterest too so will give anything a try - I even keep my colouring book and pencils by my bed at night just incase!
OG I'm not on too many meds - my insulin, my pill and my tummy meds. The only 2 that aren't regulars are my IBS treatment and Pain Killers - could be a hard one to pinpoint. But will look into all avenues though
