I`m quite surprised that this is the verdict (if correct). It`s such a shame that history has repeated itself. http://www.independent.ie/woman/celeb-news/peaches-geldof-died-from-heroin-overdose-30234230.html

I'm just surprised that it took so long to reach a heroin overdose verdict. I suppose there is always the possibility that she took too much by accident .
Question Author
Maybe it was the usual thing. Someone uses heroin for a certain amount of time and so they get a tolerance for it. Then, they don`t use heroin for a while and their tolerance levels go down. They take heroin again (at their previous levels) and their body has lost it`s tolerance for the drug and the drug kills them.
TheRe is no verdict yet.
Question Author
Well the powers that be have said that heroin was present in her body and played a part in her death. That would indicate to me that she didn`t die of natural causes.
Can't we just give the family a break.... We are supposed to be a caring community..A young woman has died and left 2 small boys...
Can't you just leave it alone SJ...I know it's your thread but.........
Question Author
OK. Let`s not have an opinion about anything.
Especially how long I can keep my thread going!...sorry, I'm not in the mood...I don't often get shirty, but this is pi$$ing me off
"I dont think she was a regular user - she wore short sleeved dresses"

You need to brush up on the circulatory system and the habits of drug injectors, Peter.
Question Author
Well, that is you problem isn`t it?
in fairness mazie, abers are posting on the thread.
Question Author
Mazie - I can assure you that I don`t wish to keep this thread going. If I thought like that, I would be a bit sad no? I`m just replying to peoples`s posts.
I know anne, but it still winds me up...not one single one of them has a clue about that young girls life.....they should leave it...She's dead
mazie, its ongoing news in the media,
Oh that's OK then anne.... and if it was your Daughter?.....I'm Out :o(
oh !
it doesnt make any difference how well off she was - some will condemn, some with sympathise - some will actually think she deserved and some, bizarrely - will claim to want to be the ones to kill her!
you are all entiltled to do any of them, but it doesnt really matter - your opinions dont matter one jot to her, or her family, or any other family in similar circumstances, or any other drug user ... so some people should perhaps not get too caught up in the perceived importance of their opinions ...
How little many of you seem to know about the drug and it's methods of ingestion. Just because she had no track marks visible doesn't mean she wasn't an addict. She could have smoked it or snorted it, or even injected in areas not visible to the public. All this is assuming she was an addict, i'm not convinced that she was.
I know nothing about the drug, but does her addiction or otherwise matter? It killed her - and with her family history she knew it was a killer. What on earth possessed her to use it at all?
I have just not seen an addict that doesnt have track marks

I know it is possible - I just havent seen one
